I have chosen App Engine since;

It's easy and safe to manage their datastores.
Integration with Google oriented services.
Developing and deploying is like a breeze.
Huge developer support and is free.

Design : Twitter Bootstrap

While creating a website design has an important role to play with. I'm still bad at designing, but Twitter helped me this time. Twitter Bootstrap provides a lot of good templates and a handful CSS codes.

I learn new things from a lot of websites, plays with it, injects my crazy ideas into it, and some times integrate multiple things together to make something different. All because progamming is fun and I can't break out from this.
